[LOG - Adventures in Touching Time]

Scarf!Doctor: "Ah, you appear to have some kind of list there..."

BowTiesAreCool: "Oh, yes, right, list." *the Doctor strolls on over to his younger counterpart, turning the datapad handed him by Book about so Four can get a gander at it, as well* "Here we go."

Shepherd Book: The Shepherd has been showing the Doctors the list of components that Gryf had given him of damaged or broken components. "We've already made some headway, but I don't know what I'm looking at, here. What we'd need from the both of you is what of these components are absolutely necesary, for flight, ah- time travel," less sure on those words, "but what of these can we probably live without?"

Bertie Wooster: *Bertie's a bit lost in it all. Much too much technological babble. He hangs back with Gryf.* "I don't suppose you could just sort of bang everything a bit to get it going? That worked for my chum Tuppy."

Scarf!Doctor: "Well, the Chameleon Circuit has been burned out for centuries, so we don't have to worry about that."

Gryf: [looks up as she hears the others returning, hearing Bertie talking to her. She looks pointedly across the room at Loki, who she's been practically been having a stare off with since he came in.] I don't think that's going to work, Bertie...

Jack Zero: *Jack leans in the doorway of the TARDIS, frowning as the conversation about components goes on*

Scarf!Doctor: "The Dematerialization Circuit, on the other hand, is rather vital. That would take a huge amount of power to regenerate. I could try and dig up some plans for it, however...""

Scarf!Doctor: "I mean, if the Station replicator was able to make me a new sonic screwdriver, it's certainly possible to try it with the D-Mat..."

Scarf!Doctor: [to Eleven] "What do you think?"

Celena: [Slips in through the open Tardis door and into the control room, shifting to her draconian form to better navigate the smaller confines. Her pouch of tools and spare crystals set in a pouch slung around her shoulder] Seems I'm late to the party. [She quips to herself before making her way in noting all gathered and the matters being discussed]

Bertie Wooster: "Well, I mean, has anybody got a wrench? I could give it a go with the console-y bit if that's what we need working." *Bertie is here to help as best he can, after all.*

Loki: Loki's still sitting where he plopped himself down (with dignity because god, yes) just inside of the TARDIS. He's okay with having a stare-off with the mortal, a little bit of yelling. He missed that sort of thing from Asgard. "If I hadn't been pulled here by this infernal contraption, I'd rather wait for everyone to do the work for me so I may go home." Home where he was king after all.

Gryf: No matter what's broken, it's all too much to repair in a short amount of time, you realize? [to the doctors, frowning hard.] I've had at least four or five of you come by saying stuff about dreams and that we need to do something like right now, but the radiation or energy levels or whatever Celena and Bruce and everyone set up are spiking!

BowTiesAreCool: "Right, besides, haven't really missed it, friction contrafibrilator's been fussy since before Jack came on board, ooh, D-Mat, bit tricky, althoouuugh, ah, no, haha, we don't need to try and replicate a dematerialization circuit, do we?" *he grinned proudly at Four, at that thought, then at Gryf

Shepherd Book: Celena gets an extra smile as she appears. Book exaggeratedly holds up a hand, back to normal. "I thank you again for your help." To Gryf, another nod. "We've noticed, there have been some- changes. More rapid than we've seen before. Is this going to keep on happening?" Looks around as he says it, asking it to everyone in the room.

Scarf!Doctor: "Don't need to try and... whatever do you mean? Of course we need a D-Mat Circuit!"

John: *There's more than a little commotion and John's drawn to the TARDIS just as surely as anyone. When he spots Loki there, he goes in to stand near Gryf. He doesn't have much to contribute to the technobabble, unfortunately, but he's here. Glaring at Loki.*

Celena: Book gets a grin in return, along with a dip of her head. "You are most welcome." She replies as she moves on over. With a thoughtful look Celena nods. "Indeed, with the shield that had been protecting the station gone now to all intents, it is very likely that even more such effects will occur, if anythiing at an increasing rate I would wager."

Jack Zero: [Jack rolls her eyes at Loki's bellyaching.]

Scarf!Doctor: "There's lots of things we could do without... maybe jettison a few of the extraneous rooms to save on power consumption... but you need a Dematerialization Circuit to fly a TARDIS!"

BowTiesAreCool: "Well, yes, but we've got spares, a few dozen, old girl's a bit sentimental, keeps archives of our old control rooms, including the ones we haven't made yet, remember, including their dematerialization circuits, must be at least one that's not damaged."

Bertie Wooster: *As Bertie seems to be receiving absolutely no attention, he wanders over toward the console to look at it. He keeps his hands to himself, though.* "Which one is the demateri-whatsit, then?"

Loki: Usually Loki would gladly return someone's glare, but in the case of Watson, he simply smirks and gives him a teasing wave of fingers. "Fancy meeting you here. Come to check on my foot? If you're nice, I'll even let you kiss my boot before you take it off," followed by a bit of a cackle because no doubt that the doctor would take that well at all.

Jack Zero: Fascinating. [The biotic drawls from her spot.] How fuckin' long is this gonna take?

Scarf!Doctor: "Language!"

BowTiesAreCool: "Language." *simultaneous*

Scarf!Doctor: [looks at Eleven and grins]

John: *John does, in fact, bristle, but holds his position.* "You're not dead again. Shame..." *The last bit is muttered.*

BowTiesAreCool: *smiles back, eyebrows raised*

Jack Zero: [Jack looks between the Doctors and sneers.] Make me.

Shepherd Book: "Ah- unsure." Book will, actually take Jack's objection seriously. "If fixing things component by component isn't going to work, and we need to work quickly before we're all- dragons or fish-people or twenty feet tall and can't work any more...?"

Celena: "Indeed? At the very least if the demateriliazation circuits of the other rooms are damaged in different locations could it be possible to salvage a working one from multiple?" Celena interjects after a thought. "That said not something I'm with before but the possibility stands depending on its workings."

Scarf!Doctor: [Looks at Jack with a "don't-tempt-me" stare]

Loki: Loki blinks. "I didn't think that'd be your type, doctor. So Sif and corpses, is it? I can pull off the former, not so much the latter..." He pulls himself up onto his own two feet, glancing briefly at others in the room, lingering on Jack Zero for a moment, then back to John. "Maybe mortals aren't nearly as uninteresting and pathetic as they generally prove to be."

Scarf!Doctor: [and just then a thought occurs to him and he reaches into his pocket] "Perhaps we could salvage some circuitry from this..." [pulls out the replacement Chameleon Circuit]

John: "Oh, piss off." *To Loki, not the Doctor, of course.*

BowTiesAreCool: *snaps his fingers, pointing at Celena* "Exactly, so, I'd say we split up and bring a few back here, Jack, your manipulator working well enough to download a map?" *...he glances toward Four, though, at that*

Gryf: No one's changed in here. [needing to point that out.] I think when we're in here, we're safe from the energy-whatever that's affecting everyone.

Bertie Wooster: *Well, there are far too many buttons and levers on the console not to touch. Bertie can't help himself as he starts to prod at things while the others bicker and discuss.*

BowTiesAreCool: *he raises his eyebrows at that, at the chameleon circuit, that is*

Loki: Loki cackles at John's reaction.

Scarf!Doctor: "This has advanced circuitry; I think it's from a Type-55 TARDIS. I've been trying to get it to play nice with the old girl, but it's rather like trying to send a video text from an iPhone6 to an old flip-phone."

Scarf!Doctor: [trying to use a simile that more people on board will understand]

Gryf: [doesn't get it.]

Shepherd Book: If anyone was hoping for the Shepherd to mind Bertie, like he has in the past, he is too focused on Celena and the Doctors and Gryf. "That might give us the time that we need. Can you determine, Celena, if the radiation is entering the TARDIS? Or would the ship's own shielding be protecting us?" Again, open to the crowd.

Celena: Celena gives a sharp nod, "Do you have a schematic of the circuitry and a layout of where to find them?" She taps the crystal device around her neck, "This should be able to recieve and store anythiing you send to it." At Book's question though she gives a thoughtful nod before turning to look towards the outer walls, shifting her vision as her eyes glow golden, searchiing for any signs of the energies that now permeated and flowed through the rest of the station.

Bertie Wooster: "Um..." *Bertie says quietly as some sort of panel opens up after fiddling with this and that. There's something glowing inside. Something that reminds him of the sparkles that had been in Gryf's eyes. Bertie's attention is drawn down to it, and he starts to reach for it.*

Jack Zero: Stop it, Wooster.

Scarf!Doctor: "Oh dear, no no no, Mister Wooster, please don't touch that..."

Scarf!Doctor: "...or inhale it."

Scarf!Doctor: "...or look at it."

MOD STUFF: [as Bertie reaches for the glowing bit within the TARDIS, something that should be (and is) dangerous for anyone to be reaching themselves out towards, a glow starts to build on the hand that Bertie reached out with. It's a glow that's the same colors of the Being, which is any and every, in that same rainbow pattern those with the marks in their hands have been seeing swirling around since this morning.]

Loki: The glow gets Loki's attention, who goes from cackling at John's glare to falling silent at the glow. A hand goes out, as though ready to use magic to stop him if need be because Loki remembers the last time he saw a glow like that. "Put it back." A firm voice, because they're supposed to be linked together, right? He didn't want to have to explain to people why Bertie died and he didn't. By the Gods that'd be ugly here.

BowTiesAreCool: "What- Bertie, no, nonono."

Bertie Wooster: "Oh..." *Bertie's completely ignoring everyone else at the moment.* "It's warm." *And now he's going to reach further in. Thank you.*

Scarf!Doctor: [runs over and grabs Bertie's arm, pulling him out]

BowTiesAreCool: *that's where he springs forward to try and yank Bertie's hand out along with... himself*

Shepherd Book: Book, on the other hand, takes a step closer and looks at the light, the resonance? He puts a hand out, just missing stopping the Doctors from going forwards. Incredulous, because it looked like that was exactly that they needed. "Doctor!" Sharply. "What- what is that? Why did you stop him?"

Scarf!Doctor: "You are NOT supposed to touch that, Mister Wooster... I'm not supposed to touch it, and it's my TARDIS!"

MOD STUFF: [as Bertie's pulled back, the glow from his hand dies off and goes back to normal.]

Jack Zero: [Jack glowers at Bertie, sighing at the Doctors and clenching her fists.] Perfect. Now what?

Scarf!Doctor: "Wooster, why did you do that?"

BowTiesAreCool: "Yes good well if it's WARM, might as well just go sticking our hands in the raw time energy, good idea, and we stopped him because it's dangerous, and... it's time energy." *he sort of trails off, glancing toward his younger self*

Celena: Celena looks back across to Book and the crowd. "There's no sign of anything getting in-" At that point noticing the rather hefty glow and immense energy that eminates from the point in the console, along with the seeming build within the marking of Berties hand. "Now that is curious."

Bertie Wooster: "No! No, it's not... I... I could feel it." *His eyes are on the console still.* "I think it... like someone grasping for my hand." *It's difficult to articulate.*

Loki: A distraction is a distraction and whether Loki likes the TARDIS (or anyone else for that matter) or not, he's curious. He strides over while the Doctors deal with Bertie and everyone else seems to be focused on him. He doesn't reach, doesn't touch, just leans over to take a look in the panel at where the glow had come from. Ideas run through his mind a rapid fire, coming to different conclusions on what it could be. "Is...it the heart of the box then?" It glowed like the being that took over Gryf, had the same glow as the one that killed him...

Scarf!Doctor: [Four examines Bertie's hand, looking for the mark that so many people seem to bear nowadays]

Jack Zero: Just don't fu--freaking do it again. [Jack looks like she's tasted something foul.]

Celena: Celena looks to her own marking then to the console, "That there was such a strong reaction to the beings mark is curious indeed. Perhaps its purpose is linked/"

Bertie Wooster: *The mark is still there. Whatever happened with his hand hasn't diminished it, yet.*

Shepherd Book: "I believe we all already have 'stuck our hands in raw time energy,' if you like, Doctors." Book looks around, curious at everyone's objections. "This is what is needed, isn't it? The Being gave us this for a purpose! This must be it." He shakes his head at the Doctors, specifically.

MOD STUFF: [the mark isn't just still there, it's brilliant and brighter after that little contact.]

BowTiesAreCool: *he pulls out his screwdriving, giving Bertie a quick scan* "...you think that could actually work?" *as much to himself as his counterpart--although he glances toward Loki, raising his eyebrows and smiling slightly* "...not exactly the heart, it's... sort of the engine, though, if y'like."

John: *takes a walk over to stand next to Loki in case he needs pulled back.*

BowTiesAreCool: "......Doctor, what d'you think, a few handfuls of nice, processed, hand-me-down time energy, right into the time rotor, like, like fuel injection into the engine?"

Scarf!Doctor: "You know what, Doctor? We've tried just about everything else..."

Jack Zero: I'm not sticking my hand in that damn thing

Bertie Wooster: *Bertie's looking between them.* "May I...?" *As Jack Zero isn't willing, apparently.*

Scarf!Doctor: "Hang on one moment; I want a safety measure. K9!" [The dog comes up.] "MASTER?"

Loki: Loki jerks his head in Jack Zero's direction. "For once I'm with the unstable one standing over there. This infernal box is just as much a murderer as myself apparently. I'm not putting my hand to touch that."

Scarf!Doctor: "I want you to monitor Wooster's vitals. If anything unusual happens you are to tell me right away, understood?"

Scarf!Doctor: "AFFIRMATIVE, MASTER."

Gryf: [is watching everyone, listening closely, before she offers over towards Scarf on the comment of safety.] I can link back up with her, let you know what that additional energy is doing for her.

Jack Zero: [Jack scowls harder, looking concerned.] You sure, Princess?

Celena: Celena gives a quirk of a smile, "No risk, no reward, I'd willing to help."

Scarf!Doctor: "Good idea, Gryf. Now all this will be entirely voluntary, yes? Good."

Shepherd Book: Book puts a hand out on Bertie's shoulder, briefly, for support, then lets it drift away. "Go right ahead." He'll keep his prayer for the man silent.

John: "I'll help. If this works. Better hope it does." *Said to Loki.*

Gryf: Hang on a second, Bertie. Let me get reconnected. [she needs to get in there closer to the console, scoot out of the way someone!]

Loki: "Should I be frightened? Of a man that barely can keep his wits together when meeting a dame in a ballroom?" A scoffing noise at John as he steps aside for Gryf. Ew, mortal creature.

Scarf!Doctor: [Four slowly releases Bertie's arm and then steps away, allowing Gryf access.]

Jack Zero: [Jack stares indignantly at Loki.] Help or shut the fuck up!

Scarf!Doctor: [Gives Loki the hairy eyeball.] "We are all mortal creatures, my friend. Even me. Even you. You would do well to remember that."

John: "You're the one who tied your life to him, mate, not me." *Remember that, Loki? That was an intelligent decision.*

Gryf: [she's going to find her place back half-tucked under the console, grabbing the cable she had been using earlier before Loki came, and quickly hooks herself back up to the TARDIS with a visible shiver. For almost half a minute, her eyes go blank, body impossibly still except for her breathing, then all at once she blinks and looks back up at everyone.] Got it. All set for... hopefully not Bertie blowing up.

BowTiesAreCool: "Don't be silly, Gryf, he's not going to blow up."

Scarf!Doctor: "Well, probably not."

Celena: [She moves in closer if not onto the platform into a position where she could observe and if needed use her energies to pull Bertie out]

Loki: "Oh, do you kiss your mother with that mouth? For shame. What do you wish for me to do? Place my hand in a container that has the same glow as the one that eventually killed me? For a god of chaos, I have an inkling of self-preservation here." He's not really going to let everyone know that his 'binding' with Bertie was a hoax, a ruse to keep people from coming up with an excuse to just kill him for existing.

BowTiesAreCool: "Of course not. Possibly might be regressed or advanced along his timeline a bit, orrr roasted a lovely golden brown, never seen anyone blow up, though."

Bertie Wooster: *That is not at ALL reassuring, but Bertie seems to have set himself up for this now.* "Right, well. If you're going to go out, eh?" *He gulps, screws his courage to the sticking place, and reaches out for the light again, feeling the brush of warmth.*

Scarf!Doctor: "Should be perfectly safe, unless you're bald, in which case you'll likely turn into a giant chicken. Naah, that hardly ever happens."

Jack Zero: No, but I'd kiss yours Asshole. [Jack grins nastily at Loki.] How about you gift us with silence 'Your Majesty', while they figure this shit out.

Loki: "Peasants are generally seen and not heard - especially if they're not doing much to help either, save for being a distraction. And not even an interesting one, just one about for being a nuisance," he points out, rolling his eyes. "Perhaps you should head to the training ground for wits before going to battle with none."

John: "Let's all just shut up until we see what happens, then, hmm? Gryf?"

BowTiesAreCool: *anyway, Eleven lets K-9 handle the scanning, relying instead on his own senses to gauge if everything's going smoothly with Bertie and the time energy*

Jack Zero: Don't get pissy with me, just because you're not so above it. You're stuck here on The Being's whim, just like the rest of us you can suck it.

Loki: "There's nothing enticing here to suck on, so I'll pass. I'm here on the Being's whim because I'm needed. And you...? Your purpose here is? To let us know what the latest foul word is? I suppose everyone has their place and I know what mine is."

MOD STUFF: [the light surrounding Bertie's hand returns, and slowly moving up his arm the closer he gets. But before he can touch it, the rainbow-light suddenly courses over his entire being all at once. It gathers, brighter and brighter, then pulls back from Bertie and zooms right into the glow of the Heart of the TARDIS. Then, there is a flash as brilliant as a spotlight hitting everyone dead in the face. When the light clears... Bertie is floating above the floor, pulled back from the console, and he's- changing? Flickering. It's really hard to tell what he's doing. It's almost like someone flipping incredibly rapidly through a series of photoshop layers of Bertie in that same position, but for each layer, he seems to be different in some ways. Different clothing, long hair short hair, younger, incredibly old, someone might even spot House and other variations that all look like Bertie before there's another flash, and Bertie is standing there again, as himself... and the mark is gone from his hand.]

Bertie Wooster: *Bertie staggers a moment, head spinning violently in the metaphorical sense.* "Oh. That was a bit odd."

BowTiesAreCool: *the Doctor raises a hand to shield his eyes (considering how he does maintenance, he's used to surprising bright lights), keeping track of Bertie as best he can* "...! Bertie..! Bertie, are you all right?!"

Jack Zero: [Jack starts with a sneer, before her gaze snaps to Wooster.] You alright, Wooster?

Shepherd Book: Book flinches back from the pulse, but then his eyes go wide, shielding his sight, to look on what his happening to Bertie. "Good Heavens." A hand reaches out, just hanging in the air, but not touching him, until Bertie touches back down to the ground. No change in his vitals... "Incredible."

Scarf!Doctor: "K9? Status report, please?"

Bertie Wooster: *Bertie touches a hand to his own head. He's dizzy, but little else.* "Just a touch woozy, old thing. I think I was about a 100 different people for a moment there..."

Scarf!Doctor: "ALL VITAL SIGNS NOMINAL, MASTER."

Scarf!Doctor: "Gryf... how are things on your end?"

John: "...Well, that's something." *John doesn't really have any words, just stares, nonplussed. "Who's next, then?"

Shepherd Book: The next look is given to Gryf, then, waiting for her news on the TARDIS. Clearly, that did *something*, but was it the thing that they wanted?

Jack Zero: [Jack looks to her own hand and back to Bertie] I vote King Bitch over there so we don't have to hear his mouth.

Gryf: She took that really well. [eyes closed, focused inwardly on her HUD.] In fact... that filled a lot of what she's been missing. I can only imagine some more of it is going to help her out.

Celena: [Celena watches closely committing everything to memory, wincing at the intense flash. Eyeridges raising at the rapid flickering, taking note of as much as she could, suspicions as to what just happened and theories running through her mind] Now that was quite curious, it looked as if they were different versions of you, alternate realities perhaps. [She follows Book's look to Gryf before nodding.] That is good news indeed. I would be willing to volunteer then

BowTiesAreCool: "Looked it, all right, you-... oh. Ohh, 'course, don't you see, try to pack all that time energy into a human being, they burn out, but you distribute it throughout the branches of their timeline, no problem. Haha, well, good, that does make it a bit safer, doesn't it?"

Scarf!Doctor: [For the first time in quite a while we see a hint of that old toothy grin.] "An excellent observation, Doctor." [turns to Celena] "Splendid!"

Shepherd Book: Book looks to Celena, concerned for a second, but nods. "Should be fine, then, if Bertie was all right." But maybe he watches her with a touch of trepidation.

Jack Zero: So what, it's a lightning strike of time?

Scarf!Doctor: "K9, switch your monitoring to Celena, there's a good dog." "AFFIRMATIVE, MASTER."

Bertie Wooster: *Bertie's just going to hang back now, shuffle over to the nearest something to lean on and get his bearings back.*

Celena: Celena offers Book a reassuring smile as she takes off the pouch and knowledge crystal she wore, setting it down. "Indeed, we shall see soon enough." she quips before she moves up to the console without hesitation or any sign of trepidation, hand held above the opening with but a glance back to Gryf and the Doctor's "Ready when you are."

BowTiesAreCool: "Sort of, except instead of the whole lightning bolt hitting you, it's shared out among every version of you that could have been, so you only feel a spark, but all together, you're carrying lightning around, ready to be discharged at the right moment."

Scarf!Doctor: [Goes over to Bertie] "Well done, my good man. I'd offer you some tea, but... well, the room still hasn't recovered from your last time there..."

Shepherd Book: Book takes a step back, and gestures for people to do the same. "Ah- if the- same thing is going to happen to Celena? You- may want to give her space?" For anyone who does not wish to get bowled over by a large dragon.

Loki: Loki watched Bertie, curious and trying to think of how that fit with what the Being told him. "The past is a chain on the future, tightening into a knot that won't be undone without precision and care. That's what the Being told me. If we fix this box, it might be the ultimate key to undoing what's been stuck here for possible centuries." His eyes are locked on the compartment with that glow in it. "The past all the way to the future has to be fixed by possibly going through all of the possible version of what might have been?"

Bertie Wooster: *Bertie winces a bit at that.* "Oh. Erm... w-well, happy to help sort that out, if you'd like. Frightfully sorry about that." *He's still sorry.*

John: *steps back per Book's instruction. He's a little surprised to hear that Loki's being sensible... and useful.* "Sounds like it's something like that, yeah."

Celena: "Now that is quite the ingenious idea on the Being's part, and would well explain recent events." Celena dips her head to the bowtie wearing Doctor, she gives a nod to Book though, "If any of my incarnations are at full size indeed you may wish to back up." To which she'll give a moment or two to give people the chance to move before giving a quirk of a grin, "Here goes then." and with that she would plunge her hand toward the light within the console.

Jack Zero: [Jack cuts her eyes at Loki as she gives Celena room.]

Bertie Wooster: *Bertie offers the Doctor a grateful smile. Dashed understanding chap. Most people tend to give him the gimlet eye for a year or two after he's burned something of theirs down.* Best keep an eye on our girl, Ms. Celena, now, what?\

MOD STUFF: [This all happens very similarly to Bertie - and oh yes, Celena is going to have some VERY large forms among all of that. So if you haven't seen her as a dragon? You might have now. Different markings, different styles... was that her Elven form in a business suit, very modern? Then there is the flash again, and Celena is back there... in her dragon form, taking up a huge amount of space.]

Scarf!Doctor: "Um... feeling all right, are we?"

Shepherd Book: Book rushes forwards, mindless of her form, towards her head and very gently touch a hand to her scales. "Celena? Are you all right?" Perhaps he's become even more comfortable with Celena's dragon form, after spending time as one, himself.

Loki: Loki actually moves, because dragons aren't really something to take lightly - even if they are mostly of myth - to make sure the dragon has all the room it needs. She needs. Ugh, whatever. He says nothing but watches her cautiously after the transformations finally stop.

Bertie Wooster:
John: *John is, unfortunately, a bit crowded against the wall to do what Book is doing. He reaches out and touches Celena's flank, though, to let her know that he's there before calling out.* "K9? She all right, as well?"

BowTiesAreCool: *the Doctor gives Loki a curious look, studying him and his little revelation there* "...intresting. Well, time's been unraveling here for awhile, harnessing multiple parallel time streams might be the only way to build up enough stable time energy. Might also explain our little motley crew." *he raises his eyebrows, glancing to Celena with an encouraging smile, and giving her a little room, as well... although he stays near the console. maybe just a bit protectively.*

Celena: Celena shakes her head carefully of the disorientation, before lifting her head a bit only to hit the ceiling with a clang. Blinking before with an amused if fatigued chuckle, "Well that certainly was something." She carefully moves herself back from the console to give others room, careful not to step on anyone. "I am fine, if somewhat drained, thank you. I see the effect returned me to my true form, curious." She gives a warm smile down to Book, "A few moments and I should be able to return to a more manageable size."

Scarf!Doctor: "K9?" "BASELINE VITAL STATISTICS FOR SAURIAN ORGANISM UNKNOWN, MASTER. BUT CURRENT VITALS ARE STABLE."

BowTiesAreCool: *he cringes a little at that whack against the ceiling* "Ah, careful...!" *...could be out of concern for her or the TARDIS, although probably both, really*

Scarf!Doctor: "Good enough, I suppose..." [cringes as one of the "round things" falls out of the wall.]

Celena: Sorry, bit of a sudden change from draconian back to full. [Winces to the round thing] Hopefully no damage done though.

Gryf: (*has to keep Bruce from idling out*)

Bertie Wooster:
John: "Okay. Gryf... still showing good signs, I'm assuming?"

Shepherd Book: Book smiles in relief, and follows Celena along. "I'm glad." He follows back to sit with her for a moment. "Ah- did, anyone want to go next?" He's not eager to drift back away from Celena yet.

BowTiesAreCool: "...ah... no, no, it's fine, she's had worse."

Gryf: Actually, really good. Each boost is filling her reserves and soon she'll top out... after that, it's going to probably be over filling her which might not be a bad thing.

Scarf!Doctor: "Splendid!"

Jack Zero: [Jack throws a bored looking thumbs up.]

John: *As Book seems to be preoccupied with Celena, that leaves several others. John doesn't really want to leave himself disoriented with Loki still in prime form.* "You convinced it's safe enough, then, Jack? Ladies first, if you'd like."

Scarf!Doctor: "Ah, Miss Jack; would you like to go next? I was only kidding about that chicken thing, you know..."

Jack Zero: Nah. [She cants her head towards Loki.] Since he's just dying to be rid of all of us, he can go.

Loki: 'They will need you and you will need them to be able to be free.' Loki glanced over each person, not letting that gaze linger too long on any particular person.
'They will be unable to cast you aside.'
What else could he do? Sit here and continue to mock people? Obviously that was ideal since it was easy, but boring after awhile. The Being was giving him a chance that he rarely got on Asgard. He could show people here just how much they really couldn't cast him aside. He was brought to help. "She seems quite focused on me - John you might have to fight someone for my affections at this rate. Oh, whatever will I do - peasants fighting over a king, how droll. Is there anyone that would want me to go next~?"

Shepherd Book: Book looks up to Loki. "We will not force you to assist. There is probably a good chance that we will get enough energy to leave, without your help. However, I don't know what sort of side effects that keeping that energy might have to you?" He makes no move to stand, though, but he will remind everyone that Loki must only help by choice.

Celena: [After a moment taken to regather her bearings Celena gestures toward her knowledge crystal, summoning it to her with a minor amount of telekinesis. Catching it in her paw she gives but a thought to it, the crystal within the device glowing as it carried out the transformation in her stead. Shifitng her once more down to a far more managable size, though retaining her draconic shape for now, offing a soft grin to Book.] There we go, now at least not taking up a quarter of the control room.

Shepherd Book: Very quietly, to Celena. "That- is what you were offering me?" Now that he's seen it in action. "It's amazing."

John: "Just get on with it." *John rolls his eyes.* "Seriously. If you're going to help, help."

BowTiesAreCool: *the Doctor rolls his eyes* "Oi, you can all go together if y'like... but isn't a king s'posed to lead?" *he smiles a little, eyebrows raised, as though to say he absolutely know he's being a bit fresh*

Jack Zero: [Jack's jaw visibly tightens as she stares at the compartment, looking less thrilled with everything by the second.]

Bertie Wooster: "It... it might be best to just go, Loki, old boy." *Look at Bertie trying to help, Doctor! Just like you asked. "Like taking medicine."

Loki: "By the Yggdrasil," though no one would scold Loki for his language. Nothing else is said as Loki closes the distance between himself and the compartment, thrusting his hand in for the glow. There's some mutter of the words 'damned peasants' as the glow starts up his arm. Not going to die this time, just helping, not dying--

Scarf!Doctor: "Language!" [Four grins madly. He's actually having fun for a change.]

Celena: Celena dips her head with a clear smile to Book. "Something quite similar indeed." She replies just as quietly before giving a wry look. "It certainly has its uses." She comments before turning her attention to the room at large and the goings on at the control console itself and the arguments seemingly going on.

John: *John keeps his distance as Loki shuffles through his own changes, shielding his eyes against the light as the TARDIS' heart takes hold.*

BowTiesAreCool: "Good, now, don't worry, you're not actually sticking your hand into an engine, exactly, actually, you're not sticking it anywhere, you're really touching the edge of the Time Vortex, nowhere and everywhere at all points in time, technically your hand doesn't even exist, right now...!" *which might have sounded more comforting in his head, but he'll worry about that when he's done shielding his eyes from the glare*

Loki: A bright flash of light, then a roulette of forms for Loki - the tyrant they all know and hate, a ginger-haired man that a few might recognize as Tom, Captain America, Sif, a child, a gothic romance gentleman, a soldier, a different prince, a plethora of various lives and men that Loki has been in other worlds, other realms. Then there's that bright flash again, with Loki laying on the floor in its wake. But it's not Loki like everyone knows him. Gone is the pale skin and green eyes - all replaced by different. There's ice cold blue skin, adorned with intricate markings and ridges all over the visible body - even on his face. A groan, and he shifts as it's clear whatever happened drained him of energy for the moment. His eyes open to show eyes filled with a blood red color and black pupils. The air is frigid around him, like being out in the Arctic.

Scarf!Doctor: [An idea comes to Four. He stands up and goes over to Eleven.] "Hold down the fort for a few minutes. I'll be right back."

BowTiesAreCool: "Ah... blimey, you all right, mate?" *he kneels down to check on him, glancing up at Four* "Ah? ...oh, right, yes, 'course, got it."

Bertie Wooster: "What... I say! Loki, old boy... you're blue!"

BowTiesAreCool: *sigh* "Yes Bertie 'course he's blue, don't be rude."

Bertie Wooster: "Well, I've never seen him be blue before!"

Bertie Wooster: "It's a very nice blue," he adds.

Jack Zero: Wooster...[Jack wipes her hand over her face, sighing.]

Loki: Loki's head is swimming, and it's difficult to move through. Everything as Jötun feels different, and he doesn't even realize what's happened until Bertie opens his mouth. The temperature around him spikes down again, then Loki's trying to force the glamour back over his skin because he hates it, he hates this monster of a skin, and if it wasn't for everything else in this room, he'd probably kill Bertie right now. It's a mocking thing he's saying, the same things that Harkness was saying!

BowTiesAreCool: *perhaps unsurprisingly, the Doctor's really quite un-shocked by Loki's form, offering him a hand up, with a slight smile* "Take it that's a 'yes.'"

John: "Right, okay. Next up, then, Jack, or am I going?" Because there are only a few of them left with the Being's gift in the room. He'd also like to get the focus off of Loki before Bertie gets murdered.

Jack Zero: Just fucking go John.

Scarf!Doctor: [From outside the TARDIS] "Language!" [Four strides briskly down the corridor, punching things into his comm unit as he does so. A few minutes later he comes back with a tray laden with donuts and coffee.] "I have treats for all those who have given blood, er, I mean Time Energy." [Included are some extra-large donuts and an extra-large mug of coffee for Celena.]

Bertie Wooster: "Oh! Jolly good, old sport." Bertie will help himself to the coffee, at least.

Scarf!Doctor: [Sees Loki.] "Ah, hello there. You look like you could use this coffee first..."

John: John, meanwhile, rolls his eyes at Jack. "Anyone getting snacks, best keep back." The doctor (lowercase) takes a deep breath and steps up to the TARDIS' console, placing his hand into the light.

Jack Zero: [One asshole to another, Jack decidedly keeps her eyes on the TARDIS rather than Loki and watching as the light begins to shine brighter.]

Loki: Loki manages to sit up when the vertigo in his head begins to finally die off. Everyone's seen the form now, so no sense in trying to force what he things as 'his real self' to come back. As John moves towards the console, Loki moves off, using magic to bring a donught to him as he sits back down. Back down away from everyone else. Brooding. That's what this form is good for. Brooding.

BowTiesAreCool: *the Doctor regards Loki pensively a moment longer before giving John a small, reassuring smile as he steps up*

Celena: Celena watches the situation with Loki without question or judgement merely observing. Giving a wry look across to the scarf wearing doctor, "That could well help the process." Even as Loki summons a Donut so does Celena for the particularly large one that the Doctor had procured with a dip of her head in thanks before watching the next in line.

Shepherd Book: “I-ah, allow me.” Book stands up to leave Celena’s side, he approaches the console, and reaches inside, unwittingly holding his breath as if waiting for an impact. He rises up off the ground, and the light fills him, just as before. There are many versions of Book, most with military uniforms, one or two with mis-matched Browncoat ‘uniform’ that Mal and Zoe used. Or, some of him unkempt, dirty, and alone. Many that are far younger than himself. No others appear as the clean, put-together Shepherd. Lastly, that version with one eye, and an Alliance Commander uniform. And then, he touches back down. Woozy, as well, as he steps back towards where he was sitting.

John: John's timeline seems to be an exceptionally diverse. There's a younger man in orange clothes, a sideways baseball cap on his head, an older man in all black, a much smaller... creature, one with hairy feet and very curly hair, a man in a thick coat and funny hat, a police officer's uniform, and many other forms. The light flashes once, and he touches down... catching himself on the edge of the console.

BowTiesAreCool: *the Doctor clasps his arm gently as he lands and sags a bit* "Ah, give it a mo, seems it takes a bit out of you, but you'll be fine."

Scarf!Doctor: "Have a donut. And a jelly baby."

Scarf!Doctor: "Gryf, how's she holding up?"

John: "Coffee, I think. Yeah." And maybe a donut, as well. John will head over to the snacks once he's got his bearings together a little more.

Gryf: Just fine. She's topped out and her reserves are filling up now. She's... humming in the back of my head. [because that's not odd nope]

Scarf!Doctor: "Humming? Humming a happy tune, or humming like a vibrating machine?"

Shepherd Book: Book settles onto the floor, he'll wait a moment before heading towards the snacks, but he looks up wearily at Jack. "...One to go. If- you wish." If, that is, she wants to. His look is still reluctant, because what he said to Loki applies to her, as well.

Jack Zero: [Jack peers around the room for a moment. Taking a quick count, she sighs.] Guess I'm the top up, huh?

Gryf: Uh. Both? She's quite pleased.

BowTiesAreCool: "...humming. Well, good, better than biting, anyway." *he smiles to himself, glancing between Book and JZ*

Scarf!Doctor: "All right then."

Celena: Celena offers Book a smile after he goes through the process himself, knowing just how draining it had been for herself.

Loki: Loki's quiet in his proverbial corner, munching on a donught that's covered in sprinkles and pink icing. The glamour is slowly coming back with each bit he eats, leaving him looking quite strange - half Jötun, half Asgardian. No one was pointing it out at least, and the ordeal of releasing the energy seems to have mellowed him some. Maybe even turning him into this monster that he was really born as humbled him out. Temporarily.

Shepherd Book: He actually offers a hand up towards Celena, resting it on her arm. "Thank you." Another smile, for her. "What did you see?" Unaware as he was of his own changes.

Gryf: I think so, Jack. [peering up at the woman.]

Scarf!Doctor: [Four goes over and gives the TARDIS console a reassuring pat. He would do the same for Gryf, but... yeah. So to her he gives a wink and a smile.]

Celena: She dips her head with an easy smile, "You are welcome." Settling herself so that if he needed he could lean to her to steady himself. "Many things, including one commander." She explains before lifting a paw palm up, a small illusion playing through all the versions of Book she had made out for him to see.

Jack Zero: [She stares at the console, hand drifting mindlessly to where it needed to be. Her body flickered between forms, what looked to be a Amazon warrior, impish little creatures, several soldiers and a being made almost of pure light. The cerberus operative appeared, then for a moment her tattoos glowed with vibrant blue energy that surged through and seemed to illuminate her eyes fully. And like the others she dropped, though rather than heading towards the others she made a beeline for the closest wall. Covering a spot on the back of her neck, screwing her eyes shut.]

Bertie Wooster: "Ms. Jack, are you all right?" Bertie heads over to check on her.

Shepherd Book: Book takes the offer without thinking, leaning his shoulder into hers, so that he can see the illusion she plays before him. "I- still apologize for the things he said. But, incredible." He barks out a quick laugh, when he sees himself wearing what Mal normally does. "Oh, he would never let me hear the end of it." He glances back to Celena, "You were- amazing. Many other dragons or draconic forms? Other humanoid forms, Sylvain, human. You've lived some very diverse lives." A low chuckle, because it is a funny idea.

Scarf!Doctor: "Is there anyone else?"

Jack Zero: Don't [Her aura flares for a moment as she tries to press away from him.] Just leave me alone, Wooster.

Jack: There is a set of footsteps running faster and faster through Supplies, with a familiar voice behind it. “Guyyys!” Jack Harkness is barreling at full speed towards the TARDIS, until he spills through the open doors and grabs at the handrail to support himself. He slightly bends over to breathe, and he is holding up a hand to stare at, as if making sure that it’s back to normal. Nothing appears to be wrong with him, at the moment, besides being out of breath. “Problem. We’re getting more shifts. Something big. It’s coming out of where Section 5 used to be, flowing down all the Center shafts. And it’s getting *everywhere*.” Another heavy breath. “Idea was- that this is the only safe spot on board.” He looks up and around at everyone. “Does *anyone* answer their comms!?”

MOD STUFF: [Answer their comms? For everyone outside of the TARDIS, no comm messages have even gone off. Fran, Bruce, 'Vadum... Jack has gotten no response from them. In fact, they're not showing up on the map, either. Oh, they're out there, doing their thing. Maybe they've not come across any of the strangeness yet? But it's been radio silence. Comms have never worked inside the TARDIS so that's nothing new but...]

BowTiesAreCool: "...ah. Blimey, no, sorry, been a bit busy, good news, TARDIS seems to be recharged, but might be best we get everyone on board."

Scarf!Doctor: "Wait, what? Oh no..." [Four makes for the door.]

BowTiesAreCool: "So, Jack, bring a few of our friends to get fetch them, Doctor- oi."

Jack Zero: [Jack perks up at the sound of Harkness' voice, though she hasn't calmed enough to damp her biotics.]

Scarf!Doctor: "I'm going to the Med Lab."

Bertie Wooster:
John: "Section 5?" John's eyes widen, and he follows after Four, immediately. "I'll head for Security." That's where 'Vadum's likely to be. Possibly Fran.

Gryf: [Gryf's eyes go as wide as they can.] What? But- oh no I've been in here all day I wouldn't have gotten any of the alarms- [now a bit panicked, Gryf is rapidly reaching up to disconnect herself.] I can't get or see anything from the Station in here!

BowTiesAreCool: *the Doctor stares a moment at his younger self--then sighs and waves* "...all right, go on, I'll do what I can in here."

Scarf!Doctor: "Anyone who's not coming with me, I suggest you make your way to the Library. Oh, and someboedy pick up Zoe!"

Jack: "It's not your fault, Gryf." Jack stands back up, and is right there next to Four. "Bet I know who else is in there. What do you need, to bring her with us? We're recharged? Good." No, Jack hasn't had to think about this possibility, at all. "The tube, can we disconnect it? Bring the whole damn thing in here?"

Celena: Celena looks up from where she had been about to reply to Book as Harkness bursts in. "That cannot be good. I'll see what I can do with the other sections of the ship, see if there isn't any way I can stabilize the area or bypass already effected areas. With the shield down my portals may be risky but may be possible."

Loki: Loki's sitting in a spot where he can see Harkness and it's taking a lot of self control to not sneer. He doesn't even care about the predicament - now he really does want his normal form back instead of the Jötun one he's half way in now. Most of it's gone thankfully. "I suppose I'll stay here because I doubt anyone wants to go with me to investigate something."

Bertie Wooster: Bertie's content to stay where he is, as well. "I'll keep an eye out here, shall I?"

Scarf!Doctor: "If the TARDIS is the safest place, and if there's 'something big' spilling out into the STation, then you're damn right I'm bringing her here!"

BowTiesAreCool: "All of you be careful, and be quick, no idea exactly how fast time's going to be degrading out there. And yes, bring the stasis tube, we can hook up power in the TARDIS."

Scarf!Doctor: "Jack, I may need your help to carry things. And possibly to talk Bruce into leaving."

Jack: Jack grins fiercely. "I'd expect nothing less. Then, I suppose it's time to re-hash an old plan. Gryf, do you mind if we borrow one of those forklifts again?"

Scarf!Doctor: "Yes! Splendid idea! This is why I don't travel alone in the TARDIS!"

Gryf: Go right ahead. Do whatever, I need to- [when Gryf steps outside of the TARDIS, she visibly staggers, almost stumbling to the ground as she grips her head.] What-!

Loki: Loki stands up again, rolling eyes - one's red, one's green. He walks to the console, glancing down at the section that he had placed his hand in, then to everyone else. He's ready to just stay here, let everyone else do all of the work, until he notes Gryf staggering just outside of the TARDIS. Nothing's said, just a steady, questioning glance. Doubtful anyone would want him going near her after all.

Scarf!Doctor: "Gryf! Somebody get her inside! K9, guard the doors!" "AFFIRMATIVE."

BowTiesAreCool: *the older Doctor smiles to himself at the eager planning and so on, although there's a little bit of a grimace to it, watching with some concern as they step out the door. .....particularly at Gryf staggering like that.*

Jack Zero: [Jack makes a snatching gesture and pulls Gryf into the TARDIS.]

Celena: Celena carefully pushes herself to her feet so as not to knock Book over, a far more serious and grim look on her features as she moves toward the door. Reaching out with her energies to help stabilize her from falling, not moving to stop Loki if he moved to help if anything a more encouraging look given the situation they couldn't be choosy of just who helped.

BowTiesAreCool: *he steps briskly to her side to check for her any outward signs of her distress* "Gryf... are you all right, what happened?"

Gryf: Let me go! It's- there's so much information that's backed up and it just hit all at once. There's system alarms going off everywhere! [she'll tug on Jack's grip a little.]

Scarf!Doctor: "All right, Jack, let's run!"

Jack Zero: [Jack scowls, releasing the biotics.] And let you pass out from all the stims? I'll go with you.

Celena: Celena steps to the door, releasing her own support on Gryf, "Where do you need us?"

Loki: While everyone else pulled Gryf back into the TARDIS, Loki's putting that magic to use. That piece that had fallen off of the wall or ceiling or wherever was pulled across the floor and then seemingly transformed into a padded chair for Gryf at least to use in case she wanted it. Which she probably didn't, but at least the offer was there.

Bertie Wooster: Bertie's feeling just a little overwhelmed with everyone dashing about now. Bertie took note of Loki's machinations and nodded gratefully. "Good show, old boy. Thanks awfully. Ms. Gryf, there's a place for you to sit in here."

BowTiesAreCool: "...ah, yeah, sorry, temporal shielding, which... I had really better see about reinforcing, or the TARDIS won't be a shelter for very long. Anyone who's going, off you pop, anyone who's not, might need a hand or two in a minute."

Gryf: I don't even know. [from the way her eyes are flickering, she's going over what she's got.] Every shaft going through the center is completely closed off to me. All the cameras around them are down except- Oh. Uh. I think part of Section 1 is underwater.

Jack: "Just like old times, hunh. We'll be back." He grins at the Doctor, his exhaustion forgotten in an instant, before chasing off after him.

Celena: Can you get a view on what is coming? Any readings from the probes or the sensor network? [She raises an eyeridge to the mention of water] Well that can't be good, more and more of other universes leaking into this one, quite literally it sounds in that case.

John: John pulls up short. Underwater...? Gryf, can you see anything over near where Security is?

Scarf!Doctor: [And off they tear down the corridor (which in classic Who fashion, looks like all the other corridors).]

Gryf: Not in here... [a gulp before she tries stepping back out, flinching a little but it's better. Her eyes close before she nods.] 'Vadum's over there and it looks fine! From the network- oh. It's gone completely nuts. Everything's reading charts off the board!

Bertie Wooster:
John: "Okay. What about Fran? Is she anywhere nearby?"

Gryf: Fran's... there! She's down in that training room! She probably has no idea what's going on.... I see Doctor Banner over in med bay- he's doing something with the cryotubes?

Scarf!Doctor: [Doc and Jack round the last corner and sprint towards the Med Bay. Four holds out his sonic screwdriver and activates it, opening the door so they can enter the Lab without breaking stride.]

Shepherd Book: Book's eyebrow raises, and he actually chuckles as he stands back up. "Underwater. Now, doesn't that sound familiar?" He takes a deep breath, seeming to check if his joints are all right. "I can collect the Shipmaster."

Celena: With the shield down I can only imagine everything that's been held back is now saturating the area. Are there any cameras on the entrances to the central shafts, or external cameras on the area where section 5 was?

Bertie Wooster:
John: "Let's go, then, Shepherd." John motions for Book to follow.

Scarf!Doctor: "Doctor Banner, we're bugging out! And we need to bring Inara along! I'll explain later!" [As if he needs to explain all the alarms...]

Gryf: I never had any cameras on... wait, there's the one around in the hangar, hold- well. There's... plants blocking the camera. Er- That's not good. And they're all showing signs of something going on.

Bruce:There aren't sirens going off, not that sort of alarm. There's no response from Bruce, but as the two round the corner and come into the room with the cyrotubes, they'll find out why, because there's Doctor Banner kneeling on the floor with Inara in his arms. The goo's been drained, though she is absolutely disgusting with it and from holding her, so is he. When he hears them come in, he looks to them both, expression somehow both grim and proud all at once. He speaks quietly, just barely enough to be heard. "The radiation's spiked horribly in the last hour, beyond what would be safe for any of us to remain in it long, so I knew she had to come out if we were going to bring her anywhere. But... I found it. I found it. It couldn't take hold until she was out of cryo, but I found it. The cure."
